Princess Hours & Boy Over Flowers

I am sure most people have seen these old time favorites. But these two dramas is what got me started in loving most things about the Korean culture.

First I will talk about Princess Hours
I first watched this on TV on one of the Asian channels it came up on, I don't recall clearly because this was in 2009.

I came to love the main two actresses Song Jihyo and Yoo Eunhye in this drama.
Yoo Eunhye is known as Shin Chaekyung
Song Jihyo is known as Min Hyorin
And the male actors are Ju Jihoon (who is dating GaIn) and Kim Jeonghoon
Ju Jihoon is known as the Crown Prince (Lee Shin)
Kim Jeonghoon is known as Lee Yul the cousin of the crown prince
Summary:
These character are all in their senior year of high school.
Chaekyung is a high schooler who loves part and she has two best friends. The Crown Prince attends the same school as Chaekyung. Shin studies film making because that is his dream in the future, if he was not a Crown prince. Hyorin is a ballet dancer and has relations with the crown prince. One day, chaekyung, stumbled across a room in which shin and hyorin was talking. Evidently, chaekyung stops to eavesdrop on their conversation when suddenly her cell phone goes off. Startled, by the noise shin goes to check it out but chaekyung has already escaped the seen. After, this incident she gets entangled with the crown prince and gets married to shin, and the story goes on from there. Yul comes later in the episodes, basically trying to seduce chaekyung although shes married to shin.

I have already spoiled one of the episodes for you but its really interesting and I loved this drama the most. You can watch all the episodes on Viki.com or Dramafever.com or even on YouTube.com

Second, drama I watched after Princess Hours was Boys Over Flowers which is pretty famous in a lot of countries.
I watched this in 2012, when I first received my iPod touch 4g which I still have but doesn't work as good anymore and has a cracked screen.

Boys Over Flowers OSTs also opened my interest into Kpop
Stand by Me by Shinee tapped me into Girls Generation, Super Junior, DBSK, and BigBang.
Well those bands were big at the time....and still are although DBSK split into TVXQ and JYJ, Jessica left SNSD, and 4 members of Suju left. However, BigBang is as true since!! And I'm proud to be a VIP. Anyway, back to the drama....

Lee Minho (dating Suzy) and Gu Hyesun (married to Ahn Jaehyun) are the main protagonists of this drama.
Lee Minho is known as Koo Junpyo
Gu Hyesun is known as Geum Jandi
Summary:
Also, based at a high school but a prestigious one and there are four rich boys known as F4. They are very popular but can be very mean if you get on their bad side. Well, Jandi is a superhero of the school and helps a student from committing suicide because of the pressures in the school. She later, gets a scholarship or something to attend this prestigious school although she comes from a poor family. Jandi irradiates Junpyo but eventually they fall in love and the story goes on with their life events at the school. The other three boys fall in place with the story as well.
Its really interesting even though the summary didn't sound much to it but I can guarantee everyone who has watched this has liked it.
You can also find all the episodes on Viki.com or Dramafever.com or even on YouTube.com

Starting fresh

So now this blog has been about my life and I haven't been keeping track of the times I post; therefore, I have decided to make it into something new.
Since,
I am so into the Korean entertainment, I plan to write summaries about dramas or movies I have watched, are watching, or plan to watch, and their release dates, genre, and so forth.
I always wanted try something like this but I didn't know where to apply for just writing the synopsis of a drama or movie because whoever writes them are always wrong about it, and always confuses the audience.
Although, I don't receive as many views but I hope that you will be interested in Korean dramas and movies.

I will also change the title and URL name to something unique....I hope.

Cheers to the new start!!

Growths, experiences of 2017

Hello Everyone,
It's 2017 and finally I am responding after 2 years.
I remembered I had a blog when my best friend asked me if I was still blogging. I can't believe I forgot. This is why it's so hard to keep writing journals, diaries, or blogs.
Although, I do have a Facebook and an Instagram which I post on a occasional basis.
Anyway, its only right I show you a picture of grown up Rocky, as he grew very large and now he is 3 years old.
These are professional pictures we have taken at a studio. Isn't he super cute now?

Also, I have overcome my hardships in Mississippi and met people like Susan and her family, Dinisha, Jingxia, and Emily (my roommates). And Hanna and Ian have moved to Chicago, Illinois to continue doing RUFI ministries at a university there.
They have helped me to grow stronger in God, and knowing that through these hardships I learned my bad and good experiences.
I also changed my major to Accounting and plan to pursue my bachelors degree at Mississippi College.
